International Training Programme on Nutrition at PGIVAS, Akola
 
Three days international online training programme on “Recent advances in nutritional management of dairy cows in changing paradigm” was organized during 6th to 8th October, 2020 by Department of Animal Nutrition, PGIVAS, Akola. Total 117 academician, field vets and postgraduate students participated in programme. Distinguished speakers from various national and international institutes addressed on nutritional strategies to combat different practical issues bothering periparturient cow management. Prof. Dr. Vishnu Sharma, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, RAJUVAS, Bikaner inaugurated the training programme in presence of Prof. Dr. A. P. Somkuwar, DI and Dean, MAFSU, Nagpur. Prof. Dr. S. B. Kawitkar, Associate Dean, NVC, Nagpur acted as a Chief Guest for valedictory function. The training was coordinated by Dr. K. Y. Deshpande, I/c.Head, Dept. of Animal Nutrition under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. A. U. Bhikane, Associate Dean, PGIVAS, Akola. Dr. P. S. Bankar, Dr. M. V. Ingawale and Dr. A. P. Dhok worked as Co-cordinator of training programme.
