Placement Cell

The Placement Cell of College is a dedicated section to facilitate job and career opportunities for veterinary students. The Placement Cell acts as a bridge between the students and potential employers in the veterinary and animal sciences industry, both government and private sectors.

It supports students through specialized coaching/ Guidance in securing roles in:

Higher education viz. PhD in National institutes and abroad. ICAR NET examination preparation etc.
Government sector : Livestock Development Officers/ ACAH in state AHD
Private sectors: Organization of Guest lectures/ Interactive sessions from faculties/ experts from various private firms, Pharmaceutical companies, Animal health and nutrition firms, NGOs and animal welfare organizations etc.
Motivating for Academic & Research attributes : Students those keenly interested are guided for preparation of ASRB examinations for joining to university services and research institutions etc.
Entrepreneurship in Dairy and poultry industries, Pet clinics and hospitals

Role

Development of soft skills viz. Presentation skills, Interview skills, Communication skills, Time management, CV preparation etc.
Mock test drive for ICAR NET and MPSC LDO examinations
Workshop / interviews for uplifting confidence level of students
Study tour and exposure visit to camps/ survey etc. to nurture students
Organization of Guest talks/ Webinars from eminent scientists, Experts, Corporate officials, NGOs etc.
Use of social media for effective dissemination of information
