National Online Clinical Case Conference on “Emerging Horizons in Veterinary Diagnostics and Therapeutics” was organized by Dept. of Veterinary Pathology, PGIVAS, Akola during 12th to 14th October, 2020, with the aegis of Alembic Pharmaceuticals Ltd. as a Knowledge Partner. Total 192 participants across the state and country including veterinary students, faculties, researchers, field veterinarians, industry personnel etc. actively participated. Prof. Dr. Col. A.K.Gahlot, Ex-Vice Chancellor, RAJUVAS, Bikaner inaugurated the event in the august presence of Prof. Dr. A. P. Somkuwar, DI and Dean; Prof. N.V.Kurkure, Director of Research and Prof. Dr. V.D.Aher, Director of Extension of MAFSU, Nagpur and Mr. P. Karunanithi, Sr.Vice President of Alembic Pharma. Prof. Dr. A. U. Bhikane, Associate Dean and Chairman of conference welcomed and addressed about the objectives of event. The e-Compendium of abstracts was released online at the hands of dignitaries. Followed by the Lead paper presentation, total 96 clinical case papers were presented by 27 undergraduate and 69 postgraduate students during competition held under various categories viz. Veterinary Clinical Medicine, Vet.Surgery, ARGO and Paraclinical and Diagnostics, respectively, wherein the Winners were awarded with certificates and medals. Prof. S. P. Waghmare, HS-TVCC,Co-Chairman and Dr. R. S. Ingole, Organizing Secretary expressed vote of thanks during concluding session. Dr. P. S. Bankar, Dr. R.V.Raulkar Co-Organizing Secretaries and Dr. M.V.Ingawale and Dr. P.R.Rathod took lead for organization of conference.
